The WL250-2200 Water Quality Education Test Kit is classroom safe with no chemicals to mix or glassware to handle. Minimal preparation is required and the enclosed activity booklet includes detailed information on the most commonly measured water properties along with step-by-step instructions for each test.

Children will find out how to identify environmental contamination and learn all about water quality testing through simple classroom activities. They will learn about the water cycle, water reservoirs and the most common pollutants that affect the quality of water we drink. The drinking water parameters included in the test kit are free and total chlorine, total alkalinity, nitrates and nitrites, copper, iron, total hardness and pH.

The water quality tests are based on the visual comparison method using test strips with test pads impregnated by chemicals. The visual method is straightforward and simple and the test results are obtained within minutes. The minimal amount of chemicals contained in the test pads make the strips easy and safe to use even by younger students.

The WL250-2200 water quality education test kit contains 11 educational activities and experiments and enough material for a classroom of 30 children including a colour comparison chart with test instructions for each student enabling everyone to test their own samples independently.
