WATER CYCLE ACTIVITY SET

 Water Cycle Activity SetWL250-2230

The water cycle, also known as the global hydrological cycle, is the natural continuous movement of water between the land, water reservoirs and atmosphere by the processes of evaporation, condensation and precipitation. It is a closed system which means that the water does not come to or leave our planet. During the cycle water continuously changes its form from liquid to solid (ice or snow) and gas (vapour). The water cycle is powered by the energy from the sun and the force of gravity.

With our Water Cycle Activity Set you can demonstrate the natural phenomena of hydrological cycle in the classroom. The activity set contains a complete lesson on the water cycle and a set of study cards describing each phase of the cycle. Included are 2 experiments that will help children to visualise the processes of evaporation, condensation and precipitation and better understand the cyclical steps in the natural water cycle.

During the work with our Water Cycle Activity Set children will be using their skills of observing, describing, comparing and practice their critical thinking skills associated with explaining, reasoning  and answering the ‘why’ question.
